- You can unscrew screws
- Carve/scrape things
- Lever open things
- The handle could be used as a hammer
- Could be used as a weapon/projectile
- You could puncture things with it
- Can reflect a small amount of light
- Could be used as a letter opener
- Could be wedged into things to keep them from moving
- It can rust
- Could be used as a paper weight

You can use the magnetic screwdriver in The Longest Journey to attract the iron coin, thus winning the cups game and allowing you to free Crow from the cheating cups game chap.
You can also use a screwdriver on Shifter's Box to get out of the steam world, and into the desert.
Now I know what ben was talking about. :P
